The Psychedelic Salon is a series of monthly events in collaboration with Susanne G. Seiler, at the Cabaret Voltaire, Zurich. Free from substance consumption, the series serves as a discussion platform about the current state of psychedelic research, ranging from subculture, new forms of therapy, phenomenology, and art to ecology. The Cabaret Voltaire is the birthplace of Dada and a platform for contemporary art and debate.

suns.works, by Lorenzo Bernet, is conceived as a cyclical exhibition program throughout the year, featuring emerging, music-oriented and self-taught artists. The Salon Solaire takes place every year during June and brings together a pictorial cloud of solar motifs and sun-related artworks, becoming a shared experience among the participating artists, supporters, and visitors.

Romane Chabrol Prudent is an artist who creates musical compositions and environments using a combination of electronic and acoustic instruments. The musical structure of her works is similar to the expansive, contemplative, and rousing elements of film scores. She recently exhibited at suns.works, Zurich, and Kunsthaus Glarus, and performed at the Grand V Festival in Virieu, FR.

Julian Göthe is an artist, DJ and long-time set designer for animated and feature films. His works, comprising drawing, sculpture and installations, have been exhibited at Kunstverein München, Munich; KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin; Migros Museum, Zurich; and Kunsthalle Basel.

Sadie Plant is a British theorist and author of Writing on Drugs, which posits that the enormous influence of psychoactive substances on mainstream Western culture makes a nonsense of the so-called War on Drugs. She currently teaches on the Contemporary Arts Practice MA at the Hochschule der Künste Bern.

Susanne G. Seiler, founder of The Psychedelic Salon and editor of the bilingual newsletter gaiamedia goodnews, is a contemporary witness of the early drug culture of the 1960s and 1970s. She got to know many of its protagonists such as Timothy Leary, Albert Hofmann, and Terence McKenna. Luisa Trujillo is a political scientist from Colombia. She has been assisting Susanne with The Psychedelic Salons.

Alex Scrimgeour is an editor, translator and writer, widely interested in cultural phenomena. He worked as an editor at the art magazine Artforum in New York and at Spike Art Magazine in Berlin. He now works for Hauser & Wirth Publishers in Zurich.
